CTF
Core Technology Facility (CTF)
The CTF is a new £25m state of the art biotechnology and hi-tech facility, which is scheduled for completion by December 2005. Funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency, European Union Regional Development Fund and the University of Manchester.
Championed and supported by Bionow, the project is managed by UMIC Ltd, and wholly own company of the University of Manchester.
The CTF is due to open later this year and will provide grow-on space to biotech and healthcare companies that are past the incubation phase, but still wish to remain within close proximity to the research base and facilities of the university, and to the business support network in the area.
