Fluorescent Ligands Workshop for GPCR Research and Drug Discovery

Location: Biocity Nottingham, UK

Learn about how fluorescence techniques can aid you in solving your current problems in GPCR research and drug discovery. The event is free to attend and will be Chaired by Stephen J Hill, Professor of Molecular Pharmacology and the Director of the Institute of Cell Signalling at the University of Nottingham

Free return transport to/from Leicester will be provided to coordinate with the 4th BPS Focused Meeting on Cell Signalling.

The workshop will include the following subjects and the agenda is available here with further information here

  • Fragment screening and drug design
  • Kinetic analysis and the impact on dimerization and allosterism
  • Fluorescence anisotropy
  • HTS using fluorescence with a plate reader
