A manufacturer of thermoplastics that specialises in injection moulding is looking for UK partners. The company has recently developed an innovative technology that manufactures different types of plastic tubes for extremely demanding uses.
The technology can be used to produce plastic tubes that are more flexible and tougher (non-breakable) than the ones currently available. The main advantage of these tubes is that they are made of only one part, while similar tubes are normally made of two or more components (making them more fragile & increasing their production costs - i.e. assembly). Other advantages of tubes produced with this technology include high precision finishes (different shapes and angles based on requirements to a high standard of sophistication), resistance to extreme temperature changes, disposability, minimisation of moisture absorption, and minimisation of shrinkage after moulding. These tubes are mainly used by hospitals and laboratories (i.e. suction tips).
In order to develop this new technology further to a mass production phase, a UK partner is required who would be interested in a joint venture with the company. An ideal UK partner would have its own production of similar products (i.e. suction tips) where this technology could be implemented/developed. A UK organisation receptive to a partnership would benefit from business and technical expansion.
