Bionow announced as a winner of the Northwest Cluster mark

The 'Cluster Mark' is a new national initiative by central government being introduced to support the UK Manufacturing Strategy and as such is primarily aimed at recognising manufacturing excellence. The 'Cluster Mark' is an independent and prestigious endorsement of the quality of the sector and the sector cluster organisation.

Two Northwest cluster organisations have achieved the new 'Northwest Cluster Mark' award this year - BioNow, the cluster support group funded by the NWDA for the Northwest of England's biotechnology, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry and North West Aerospace Alliance, who run the NWDA funded Aerospace Supply Chain Excellence programme in the region.

As the 'Northwest Cluster Mark' winners they will now both go forward and represent our region in the 'National UK Cluster Mark Awards' at a gala dinner with the Department for Business (BIS) in London later this month.
