The training porgramme for the Innovate UK, the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR; i4i programme and AI in Health and Care Award) and the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare Investment Readiness Programme is now underway. The programme offers support for selected companies to gain the skills and expertise to prepare them to find and secure investment.
Delivered by Bionow, the Investment Readiness Programme has been designed for UK MedTech, Diagnostics and Digital Health companies who have previously received Innovate UK (including Biomedical Catalyst), NIHR (i4i and AI in Health and Care Award) or SBRI Healthcare’s funding.
The best companies from the pitch training will present their pitches to a virtual audience of investors on 30th March 2022. The brochure for the event containing details of pitching companies can be found here

Applications received have been assessed by a small panel of assessors with relevant technical and commercial expertise. The panel has selected 13 applicants who are currently participating in the virtual Pitch Training.
Following the virtual Pitching Training, applicants will put what they've learnt to practice and will pitch in front of a small panel, who will provide advice to improve the pitch and select a limited number of companies to proceed to the online investment showcase which will take place on 30 March 2022
. They will present their company overview, plus their request and need for funding in an 8-minute virtual “pitch” at the online investor pitching session.
