£20m programme to support innovative commercially-driven projects
• Focused on improved diagnosis and more accurate patient stratification of common chronic diseases • Apply integrated and multi-modal approaches to risk prediction and diagnosis
• Involve novel digital and data-enabled tools Applicants need to demonstrate projects address an unmet clinical need or respond to NHS demand signaling.
Two competition rounds with up to £10m funding available:
• Round 1 (Jan 2023): common chronic conditions including musculoskeletal and cardiovascular disease, excluding oncology
• Round 2: (May 2023) common chronic conditions including musculoskeletal and cardiovascular disease, including oncology 


Eligibility
• All projects must involve at least two grant claiming partners
• To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered:
• business of any size or RTO
• Projects must involve at least one SME as grant claiming partner
• Total eligible project costs between £0.5m and £1m
• Projects must run between 18 and 24 months
• Eligible costs can include academic and non-commercial partners but cannot exceed 30% of total project costs
