2023 BioCap Conference Pitching Competition Finalists Announced
As usual, the standard of applications was excellent and after much discussion, Bionow is delighted to announce the pitching competition finalists for this year’s BioCap conference.

About BioCap

BioCap is all about bringing together organisations and individuals looking to invest in the next cutting-edge life sciences innovation or seeking funding and investment opportunities for their business.

This year, the event takes place at Alderley Park on 28th September with an Investor Dinner on the evening of 27th September, providing an opportunity to build valuable connections ahead of the BioCap conference during an informal evening of drinks, dinner and networking.

About the pitching competition

The pitching competition invited established life science businesses who were seeking or shortly starting to seek funding of £250k or above to apply for the opportunity to present to a panel of investors their company overview, request and need for funding in an eight-minute digital pitch.

The competition was high, with the judging panel noting the quality of the pitches submitted.

The finalists are:

  • Oxford Silk Phage Technologies Limited
  • Averywell Limited (Trading as ErleaDx)
  • Rostra Therapeutics
  • CHAIN Biotechnology Limited
  • Occuity
  • Neurolentech
  • Ceridwen Oncology Ltd
  • Skin Life Analytics
  • Ferryx
  • ClotProtect
  • BugBiome
The winner of the pitching competition will be announced during the BioCap conference on 28th September.

We would like to thank all of the applicants for taking part and we look forward to seeing you all at the conference.
